Bio

Soprano Sirpa Hynninen has graduated in 2013 as a Bachelor of Music from Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences musician discipline, majoring in singing. Her  teachers were Sirpa Kovanen (voice) and Eliisa Suni (lied studies). She also graduated as a musician from Jyväskylä Vocational School in 2009, as well as from the Master's degree program in cultural policy, majoring in political science at University of Jyväskylä in 2011.

During the spring and summer 2012 she has worked at the State Opera chorus in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia (Verdi: Simon Boccanegra, Giordano: Fedora, Loewe: My Fair Lady, Lehar: Merry Widow, Bellini: Beatrice di Tenda). She also gave a Scandinavian lied concert in March 2013 accompanied by Eliisa Suni in Banská Bystrica. She has also performed in the at Poleenin teatteri in Lehár´s Merry Widow in the session 2009-2010. Hynninen has participated in various other music projects and master classes.

Currently she is working as freelance musician and writer (for example for Rondo Classic magazine). She is also studying opera singing in a professional level in Belcanto Academy, which is based on traditional Italian singing school. Teachers: Francesca Micarelli, sopraano and Massimo Lambertini, conducting and repetition.
